Thank You Northallerton School and Sixth Form
Children from Northallerton School & Sixth Form College present Avalon customers and staff with the beautiful new wall-hanging.
A huge thank you to Abi, Bea, Sophia, Seren, Maia, Rosa, Isobel and Gracie for all their hard work in creating such a beautiful piece of art that is bound to bring Avalon’s customers joy for years to come.
Locality Manager, Sarah Gazzard, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome such a bright and beautiful wall hanging into our new space.
“Our customers are over the moon to see how talented our local children are – and they’re so flattered the kids wanted to make something just for them.
“The Avalon Group supports so many adults in the community, it’s nice for our customers to have the chance to engage with the younger generation too – we hope there will be many more opportunities for us to work with the school in the future.”
The creation was coordinated by the school’s Head of Art, Miss Allsop and supported by eight student art ambassadors.
Miss Allsop said, “I am so proud of the art ambassadors and their work ethic.
“Together they worked efficiently to produce a final wall hanging that will help residents reminisce on holidays they have enjoyed and shared with loved ones.
“All students contributed so much time, effort and energy. It was wonderful to meet the Avalon team and present them with the piece.
“We are looking forward to collaborating with them again soon, so watch this space!”
