Locality Manager – Teesside
I have worked at Avalon since 2013 so eight years now after several years as an LD Nurse. I started my role as a Service Manager in the Teesside office and managed supported living services, including 24 hour houses and community packages.
I later became responsible for the Teesside Shared Lives service. Two years ago I was promoted to Senior Service Manager and in May 2021 I was promoted to Locality Manager.
I really enjoy my role at Avalon and I have made some amazing friends and colleagues, and met some inspirational customers. I love that fact that Avalon is a not for profit organisation and genuinely does put the care of our customers first. I feel Avalon ticks all the boxes for me.
I enjoy spending my time off with my family and grandchildren, I live in a lovely rural area and enjoy walking my dogs in the many lovely country walks, I also enjoy gardening and spending time away with my husband on holidays in our caravan.
